If you work as a chemist, you are a member of a noble profession stretching back thousands of years. Almost from the time man first harnessed fire, he has sought to manipulate the elements he found in the world around him. In fact, the beginning of chemistry came about when humans learned to process ores to make metals. The Egyptian “keme,” meaning Earth, is often considered the root for the word chemistry. Studying matter, its makeup and reactions, has an interesting history.

A hovercraft is designed in the likes of an aircraft. Most of its benefits are attributed to air dynamics. Although it looks like it’s floating on water as how a boat would, it’s actually floating. When it starts moving, the correct term is gliding just as a plane would glide through the air. Hence, whether it’s a homebuilt hovercraft or a commercial hovercraft vessel, the person steering the wheel is appropriately called a pilot.

Biological gas expenditure typically climbs and drops with the seasons. In the winter months, we historically have used a lot more natural gas for warming. We are veering towards applying natural gas for electrical energy, in addition to heat. So, we are consuming more and more natural gas year round. Spikes in the summer time are getting more frequent than ever now that natural gas is being used for cooling in our homes and businesses. The eminent demand for pure burning, energy effective natural gas calls for that we constantly extract, process and move natural gas to the areas that need it most. We also must stock excess gas so that it is ready for use. We store certain amounts based on projected consumption and we store excess amounts that will secure that the supply equals or exceeds the demand when natural gas needs spike higher than expected.

When in the mood, I can talk about my favorite Far Sides all night, Only several humorists influenced me greatly before Londons Times Cartoons became my pet prroject. Others who influenced me a great deal were the original cast members of Saturday Night Live, a former roommie in New York, Patrick Weathers (who also was a featured performer on SNL in the early 1980’s) Steven Wright, Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore, Jack Benny, George Burns and Gracie Allen, Lucy, Rowan & Martin, Peter Sellers, and and I’m sure I could name a hundred more if I had time. One other cartoonist was the late great Charles Schulz, and they all influenced me in a different way.

Everything we do requires electricity most of this comes from burning coal which has very damaging effects to the environment. In order to slow down the effects of global warming people are frantically searching for alternative ways to satisfy our thirst for power. Solar power is the best way we have to do this at the moment, everyone even homeowners are calling for improvements in this technology.
